Wednesday, April 8th - Race
Relations Breakfast
The Race Relations Breakfast will feature discussion of the book
"More Than Just Race" by William Julius Wilson.
Claudya Muller, Director of the Chattahoochee Valley Library
System and One Columbus board member will facilitate the
discussion. Thise book is available at the main library. Call
706-243-2670 to see if one is available.
These Race Relations Breakfasts are
held at Ruth Ann's on Veterans Parkway. Breakfast begins at
7:25am and you are encouraged to bring a friend with you.
$7.00 is asked of regular
participants. First timers and visitors are our guests.

The American Red Cross West Central GA Chapter continues to
offer free CPR training and certification in the following

In addition, the Red Cross will distribute materials
about fire prevention and tornado safety.

Thursday, April 23, - "Charm
School" at the Springer
In a collaboration between the
Springer Opera House, the Busiiness Resource Center and the
Society for Human Resource Management Larry Larson and Eddie
Levi Lee's play "Charn
School" will be
performed at the Springer Opera House beginning at 9:00am. The
audieince will have a chance to discuss the diversity issues
raised in the play following the performance. Plan to stay for
lunch.. .
